Ive fit everything Ive tried to fit into it. the most (and heaviest, poor car..) was driving some band equipment for my friends to a show..

Ampeg 8x10 bass cab, ampeg svt classic bass head, jcm800 guitar head, another guitar head.. 5 guitars. and miscellaneous drum bits..

And for hauling, the XT carried a queen bed. .. The frame, mattress, and headboard... three cheers for not having a box spring!.. and the mattress was folded up like a sandwich wrap...but it fit.

@shinobi: how'd you get the stitched look on the crack in the bumper? it looks pretty sweet. in my head I figured you may have just drilled a bunch of little holes and ran a cord of sorts through.. but.. I tend to find the hard way to do things haha

the only reason that 08+ was ever referred to as a hatch was because the demo for the car is a young population, males 18-30 years old, and no 18-30 year old male wants to admit that he drives a wagon, so they subaru and subaru forums called it a hatch. I have no shame in saying I drive a wagon, because I do drive a wagon.

P.S. I'm just busting balls , but my honest opinion and my opinion means nothing but I just don't consider the new 5 doors a wagon. I don't consider the.forest a wagon either, until it has been lowered and no longer SUV status .
