So sorry to say i sold my wrx. Loved it but got a great offer and had to let it go. But i sold it to a freind so at least i will see it from time to time.

So this past weekend I bought an 06 Evo IX. It's in great shape. Was a one owner car and has been very well cared for.

I'll still be around the forum as the wife to be Has a 2007 legacy gt and
Im also picking up a 2000 forester and will begin to mod that also for daily driver status.

Great ride to pick-up! What was the mileage/price tag if you don't mind sharing?

Is that Access Sports Medicine building in the background? If it is, I had a friend who worked there and the building looks very familiar.

I knew somone had an evo on here just could not rember the name. I tried to find a gg one but had no luck in my price range.. :unamused:.

I'll try to make some meets this summer.. definatly not a very big evo following around here.

Anyways the car has 70k on it.. seems high but it's in great shape and was a one owner. Last owner was female and never modded it at all. Also it has SSL. I paid 17k but had a massive down payment so the payment is lower than my 02 wrx was. Also it has a 50k mile warranty on it.

Got started on the mods already. So far i have.

Amber side markers
Perrin shorty antenna
3in bucher racing turbo back
megan racing o2 housing
perrin mbc
Injen intercooler hard pipes and intake

So gonna put all that on soon with a new exhaust manifold get her tuned.
I'll update this thread with pics when it's all on the car.

I will admit this:
I've had a WICKED thing for Evos ever since I was 13. Last year I almost got a 08 Ralliart (Can't afford new Evo & couldn't find decent old Evo)... But after months of extensive research I found that the WRX was the most practical.

Evos will always have a special place in my heart though. VERY Nice cahh! :wub:

Very nice. I've always wanted an EVO IX. Is it an MR? Don't look like it from the photos - just curious. I'm tempted to sell my WRX for a new EVO X. If I had to modify another car, I think it would be an EVO IX. But I'm getting a bit tired of modifying cars. Well, not so much modifying, but more so maintaining it. I think the new EVO X would make a nice daily with some fun.

Nah man i love the wing and i think they look weird without it. The car has sharp lines and the wing flows so well with it. I've always loved 02-05 sti's and wrx's wingless or with a small trunk lip. But i think evo's need the wing.

Might draw less attention without it tho =P

Somehow I missed this thread! Car looks great, I will own an Evo at some point. As much as I love Subie's, if it came down to STi or Evo, I'd go DSM all day.
