Yep, my girlfried is wanting a website designed for her little business she wants to get recognized. Yes, I know there would be maintenance costs and yes, I know about what it would cost to do. She has some ideas, I just am looking for someone to put a price on it for her and put it together. Any recomendations??

depends on how much recognition you are looking for as well..when people go into google and type in something they are looking for, the sites that come up first are the ones that are paying an ishtload of money to be up there to get recognized

ran into this when trying to advertise a pretty prosperous jewelry business for family friends

not so much (depending upon the business). He is asking for web design, not SEO.

web design is a fairly straight foreward process once the client knows what he or she wants. It is better however to start the design process with SEO in mind.

definately true. ive had to redesign sites for SEO if the original web designer didn't have any consideration for optimization at all. May as well design a site for SEO if it's being done from scratch.

Agreed, if you are starting from scratch designing a site for SEO and usability is always the best way to go.

Can design website for you, based on typo3.org or drupal.org CMS, so you won't have to call me every day. I won't design it for beer.

My portfolio is http://www.f1vlad.com/portfolio/tags/?tag=website#list if interested email me. Email is on the website.

My wife Diane runs a graphic design business specializing in helping small businesses make a name/image for themselves [including web pages].

Have your gf check out her site and call if interested: http://www.digrafika.com

Sorry, she doesn't work for Somersworth street walkers. :)
