Shutter Island

Is a good flick, go see it. I would say it's a movie that actually makes you think. I pick up on a lot of little details so stuff made sense sooner to me than most, but the twist ending is amazing and I couldn't get over Dicaprio's last line, literally stunned me with how good it was!

It's not as scary as it looks in the preview's so don't be afraid to bring your women either. It is kind of long though, so use the restroom beforehand:lol:

I went to see Shutter Island that Saturday right after I met you in Concord. Good movie. Had me confused for a little bit after the movie.

My friends and I found a Youtube parody on it too. :lol:

hahahaha,,, my X brother in law worked on the set of that flick. Alot of it was filmed in the boston area...

I think there is a scene with a long wall that has the sky CGI'd in the background..he spent over a week making this pint size wall so they could take five minutes worth of film and then destroy it.

i went and saw it hearing all the hype from a select amount of people.

It was ok i think.
Not great. it didn't leave ya thinking about and guessing and all that really.
It had a similar effect of "omg i never saw that coming" as say "Fight Club"

but to me i think it held a message that while not is reality. But is a interesting theory on what could be reality if you thought about it

There was a book about this a long long long time ago about the idea of what if. Everything you ever known didn't really exist. What if you were trapped in your own head for all your life.. The people you knew and loved didn't exist but was a make up of your own mind. What if the world was just a memory.
and you all the sudden woke up and everything was completely different

a few movie try this idea out in a lighter form.
