Yes I'm poor right now and for some reason want to buy a catback exhaust for my car. I might just buy the piping/muffler and weld something together myself to get me by. Last night i bought a pair of sunglasses which i kind of needed but probably could have done without. It doesn't matter how much you make because most people will spend what they make!

My latest urge is for a new strippo Civic DX coupe, 5 speed with no A/C, for ~$14k. Boring on purpose, since my commute is 55 miles round trip, and 22mpg is getting old.

damn i know how that goes, thankfully i got into grad school and my buying was grounded cause i almost had an sti after my wrx, now i'm paying for tuition, still have my other toys though ~bounce~

What kind you get? I bought a king size bob-o-pedic a few months ago and a bedroom set from Jordans... $4k in the can... ~crying~

Although, I really like the bed, I couldn't justify stepping up to the "true" tempurpedic.. just seemed like another $1300 down the hole for a name.

i bought a queen size bed, made out of cherry, i like it, low profile footboard so i don't kick it at night, and i can pretty much flop on it without knacking my shins, and a simmons beautyrest mattress, not too firm, not too soft, just right for me i guess you could say, although after i bought new sheets and comforter from ll bean and new pillows at linen's and things i'm out another $250..sheesh

I made my own queen cheap-o-pedic using the same foams that the temperpedics use but custom thickness and density for ~ 500

I think I am just going to buy a new computer... no need, but i'll keep it around $800 which is pretty reasonable given all the other expenses I've just incurred.
