Just wondering if anyone else is going to the season points opener.

I'll be the 11th at Ft. Devens for the 1st event. I plan to attend and run every event- I've taken them ALL off for work. I will be baisically running myself, as the SVX is hardly an auto-x killer.

If you plan to make any event all year I would recommend the Auto-X school on the... 24th I think?

NER.ORG for details. See you around the cones!:spin:

Cool.

KNow which ones yet? My license just came in the mail... going to go check if the pre-reg is open yet. Last I was on it STILL wasn't up, though they had the pre-reg up for the May Rally-X.

EDIT: Yeah it's open... can anyone help me out with these rules?! I'm trying to figure out what class to register in and well... my car is a bit of a Frankenstein...

EDIT2: Figured out. Because of my tranny I will be running in SM... baisically the only rules are there are no rules, the engine/tranny just has to match the manufacturer of the car. I'm goin to get a good ole' butt-whoopin in that class!:spin:

Just signed up for STU. Haven't Autoxed for a couple years so I imagine I'll be a bit rusty.

Ill probably make it out to a couple. Based on what a couple people said, it sounded like yesterdays event was kinda of a bust with way too many issues.

I ended up going to the Renegade Miata event the day prior and got a bunch of good runs in. First time at Auto-X for me.

heres two videos from my runs:

Actually went pretty smooth for a first event of the year. 150 drivers, 40 plus novices and lots of wind which required weighting down the timers. Oh and a blown motor that took a while to clean up but most of us stayed to get all 5 runs.

Fun day, I was happy with the way the '10 ran, driver still needs a bit of work though...

I was quite pleased with my '08 as well... and i agree. Driver needs a lot of work, haha.

I had heard that the starters were sending people too quickly and many cars were catching up to each other. That wouldve annoyed the hell out of me.
