I just did a prop clearing on a 90ft or so Bradou mega yacht. It was spooky under there. The props are about half the size of me and this guy made a biig mess out of some lobster pots. He also backed up over his $3 a ft tow line.
oh well I got paid to clear it out and spend my morning scuba diving. woot.

yum, the mighty merrimack river.

Did you wash yourself with a steel brush after getting out of that river?

on another note, they actually ran, well swam, the first ever charles river one miler, apparently it's 'clean enough on most summer days' to be able to swim in now, dunno that i'd be doing it myself

I was in the river on an out going tide too, so all the funky river water was going into my wetsuit. I had to hug the prop or strut while I was down there just to keep from getting swept away.
yummy water.

I once/ acouple times capsized in the charles river during a couple regattas. Burried the mast tip in the mudd and drifted away from my crew. she wasn't very happy.

Just thought of it, a worst place i've been but havn't been in the water is lake Onandoga in Syracuse. That water is virtually bright green/Is.
