Finally got a day off to work on her. Put together my weird looking intake. It still has the stock Maf in it until i install my VPC/S-AFC and make a nice intake. Painted my intercooler pipe on the cold side and put it all back on. Put the battery/tray back in. Put a filter on heater hose and tucked it down behind the motor and attached it to the IAC. I then started to mock up the charge pipe, tomorrow i will cut it and temporarily put it together with couplers until i can get it welded. Swapped out the coil pack harness clips with new ones with help from my friend Pat. Tomorrow we will Fix the crank position sensor plug and make the charge pipe, put in all the fluids and FIRE HER UP!

Any updates? You get this pig running?
I was waiting on some info before I updated it but i got the Soup running that night i wanted to but the Turbo was pissing oil so i sent it out to get fixed under warranty. They said there was definately some serious oil leaking going on but nothing looked damaged. After talking with the tech we came up with a few possible solutions to my problem. He replaced the seals anyways and when i get a day off next week i will check into my PCV system and make sure the crankcase is getting the proper ventilation. If there is too much pressure in the crankcase it will cause oil to remain in the turbo and it wont drain properly, oil then finds the easiest way out like the turbo seals. Next Sunday I will get a video up now that im quite sure i know how to fix my issue.

Well Today was an exciting day indeed. I got my Charge pipe welded together and my exhaust modified and installed yesterday. Today with the help from some friends i got the Brakes bleed(due to trac removal) bumper/headlights and all that good stuff installed. Dropped her down and went for a drive. She ran extremely well, I was quite surprised how smooth the power was considering im still on the stock MAF. I still need to mess around with the idle. Did a few full throttle pulls and shes LOUD and sounds extremely well but is slower than before due to only having a ~9 psi spring in the wastegate. After taking a break we went for another drive when she started cutting up and blowing black smoke and so i pulled into my friends work and we opened the hood and there was FUEL Pouring off the lining of the hood like it was a waterfall. Quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher but luckily the fuel didnt ignite. Come to find out i used the wrong seals on the fuel rail inlet banjo bolt. I used rubber seals which is what the TSRM looked like it showed when it was actually Copper Washers, i forgot what was on there when i removed it, my mistake, lesson learned. Tuesday i will put the copper washers on the banjo bolt and be ready to go, I will have a fire extinguisher with me just incase something else was overlooked :e
I didnt get any good video footage because I was too busy driving my car, trying to upload what i have.

As soon as I fix the Fuel inlet pipe i should be driving her every day i have off and maybe in a few weeks i will park her at my Grandmas and just commute to there with the rolla then jump in the Soup like i did last year. My road will be crappy for atleast the next 3-4 weeks+ :(

One question, why'd you downgrade from the twins to a single?
 sorry I HAD to say it
from page 6.... I asked the same question
Its not neccessarily the 2 Turbos vs 1 But the 2 Stock very restricted Turbos vs my aftermarket fairly large unrestricted higher flowing than stock turbo :) Due to new technology (Billet Design) i will have full boost sooner with this turbo rather than my stock Twin turbos. Should see Full boost between 3500-4000Rpms. The Japanese in 93 had a great idea but like all technology its out dated and there are better things out there. If i get a quick spool valve i can get full boost probably by 3000 rpms.
Single Turbos are cheaper then aftermarket Twin turbo set ups because obviously you have 2 of everything with Twins =$$$ Twin Set ups have a better low to mid range power vs the Single which hits at the top and it hits Hard. The record for Supras Hp is with a Twin Turbo setup, its actually two of the turbos i have  1760Rwhp All Boost. Majority of Supras are single turbo tho due to their cost and less complicated setups and i prefer a single due to the tone in the exhaust, they are much different.

I took her out for the first real drive last thursday (120 miles) but didnt plan on it so i didnt have the video camera with me. Managed to fix my coolant leaks then once i started driving i couldnt stop. Since then the roads have been covered with salt because of the snow :unamused: I will be sure to bring the camera with me next time once the salt washes away. Need to fab up a camera mount too. :yaya: Sooo maybe on my day off mon/tues i will get just a video of the car in the garage but the action doesnt start until after 4k rpms so its hard to get any good footage in the garage

Thats good to know, i wonder if LVD allows outside cams. My video inside the car will be great tho, lots of pedaling down the track this year and i will see if i can keep it going straight and oh ya, reactions by fellow passengers to my little turbo.

Today i made a camera mount from the tech article on MKIV.com, i also recorded some video but cant capture it onto this POS laptop. I still need to buy a tripod so the camera can be adjustable. I also separated my twins so i can clean them up and put them in my room for something to look at? They appear to be bigger once split. Also put a few pictures in one of The first day i got her to right before i took her apart to present.

Well Ive been fixing what seems like a million little things but now ive started to tear into the installation of my VPC/S-AFC. Ive never wired anything in my life but ive done a fair amount of research and now im just getting my hands on experience and trying to figure it out as I go. Im hoping to be back up and running VERY soon for I have some car events on the Weekend of April 30/May 1st. WHoever did the wiring on my car before i took ownership really cut corners and did a terrible job running wires/vacuum hoses. What a disaster.

Saturday I installed the intake temp sensor for my vpc and ran the necessary vacuum hoses. The car runs much smoother but i have an issue with my idle. I have a vaccum issue somewhere but i havent figured it out yet. I can hear Compressor Surge with my new intake now. Also i removed the trac ecu and there was so much SPACE. I havent decided where i want to run the vpc/s-afc box yet so for now they are sitting on the passenger floor. Took a really quick video tonight from outside the car. Only 9PSI but i hit 80 really quick then got on the brakes. Cant wait for 16psi and yes this is a Private Road.

She is the same. Hooked up my boost controller but she was spiking ~26psi so im running off wastegate pressure for now so i dont blow anything. I also blew the gasket on the turbo oil drain so i need to replace that soon. Just driving her and enjoying her. Standalone this winter :) along with some new bushings and possibly meth injection? Fuel system isnt in the buget for another year.

Close to startup with the new setup. I deleted the EGR system, installed my new 6766, made my new charge pipe, new TIAL bov, made a new intake because I hated my old one, wired in my AEM IAT and 3.5 bar map sensor. Pics below.
IAT bung and BOV flange welded on my new pipes

Boost pressure sensor pulled back from its stock location, wired into my 3.5 bar sensor and re-routed to where you see it in the picture here
