My trip to EFI Logics (dyno content inside)

After visiting EFI Logics and seeing Chris tune at the last Supermeet I was sold :)

I drove down this morning and handed the keys to my baby over to EFI.

I had a lot of concerns about my car because of the very little that is known about the motor build and initial tune.

Chris took the time to talk to me about what my car had for modifications and what my concerns were. He made me feel confident that he could sort through the mess and the end result proves it.

Before, during and after the tune he explained what he was doing and what he found.

Now on to the results....

Everyone I spoke to before I went down told me the same thing: Your car will feel and drive 100 times better when he's done.

They were right :)

We did a base line run and it came back at 220WHP.

By the time Chris was done it was at 270WHP at 20.6psi

I couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of the tune.:D

I look forward to going back once I get a bigger injectors and quieter 3" cat back.

:lol: well you can ask them if they will discount our tunes if you come whenever mine is ready. My car has been sitting in their parking lot for a good two weeks now and then when it was all done this past tuesday Chris had it strapped down on the dyno and my access port sheet the bed, so it will have been there for 3 weeks by the time the AP comes back. I have to admit im not waiting for you for a discount rate, and I think they will fit me in soon as I get my AP back :lol::lol:

Chris, Jack, and Rob are awesome dudes down there. I dont know Pete, and I don't know the other hands that are apart of EFI. They did a stock boost tune for me @ 14.5 for STX autocross.


I had put more power down @ stock boost than what cobb packaged in their stage II tune that increases the boost.


Love those guys down there, and am debating on spending the extra money for Rob to build me an engine. Because I know that crazy guy will give me what am looking for!

They are deff the best shop around for service..and Chris is deff. the best tuner in region and possibly the country..You get what you pay for too..I love that shop!:D

Yeah, we really only give discounts with 3 or more cars anyway, and we're booked for the next couple of weeks. We'll be squeezing Evan's car in whenever we get the AP in to get it done :)

Chris @ EFI does AWESOME work, for sure. Glad you liked it. I'll be heading there for my next tune. I have a co-worker with a Mustang and he also is well praised at the LMMCC (late model mustang club of connecticut... that's a mouthful)

with the EFI bikes i def would but this is a carbureted single cyl 500cc 2 stroke engine with a full port and polish on it :) Its fast though :spin:

I love 2 stroke motors.

I used to use 2 stroke in the gas tank on my RX-7 because it was actually BETTER for the rotary.
