this is an offtopic section?
I am checking in on floods, southern new england, rhode island was my home. massachussetts as well. I hope all prevail safely.
anyhoo, weather is my hobby, I wirte in the private blog random thoughts. Checking back at it, here is something I wrote on june 30, 2009.
I saw just south of the "storm eating" bangor (we did not get alot of rain) there is a gov't recorded 3.0 earthquake on march 30 2010...have never seen this before, neither has records, that I know of.
anyway, I am describing maine in the quotes.
june 30, 2009...
...there is some interesting thoughts about geography. I am certain it defies "above sea level" measurements and even latitude. Longitude, well, that just seems normal, especially to look at. I am also convinced...it is sliding east. Every soft swath of land stuck between glacier rocks is moving...towards the atlantic. Call it my sensitive left foot with remnants of a metal plate and 8 screws. My apartment is leaning right now...eastbound, like a parallelogram. You wouldn't notice unless you stayed in it for a year.
it may be strange to read, it is not the whole thing.
I swear to god something epic is going to happen..
someday.
