Since CES happened last week, and I found out what Pioneer's new line's all about, I decided to order last year's AVHP3300BT, the deciding factor was 4V pre-outs.

I tried to get most of the other things I would need:
12 sq ft. of Dynamat Xtreme
Dash Kit (only for the mounting tabs)
Wiring harness
Steering wheel control
Dynatape (Dynamat tape)
The few things I still need are tweeter mounts from Boston Acoustics, some wiring, and someone to install it all.

I'm already in talks with an ex co-worker from Tweeter. I know Gyung, lucipha, and axis all have the abilities if he can't.

I ordered it yesterday damnit. It's gonna be in the double din panel, so I won't be using half of it anyway. The radio part is fairly easy, the speakers and amp, not so much.

It's pretty awesome. The new ones are even cheaper, but they go from 4V to 2V pre-outs, so I snatched up the old one. The interface is awesome, and I may eventually get the add on NAV.

http://i423.photobucket.com/albums/pp315/DHGURS/2012-02-02_08-25-15_1-1.jpg
Notes: Car has been tuned since 900 miles seen over 20 driving events and has had no knock, no timing pulled, and no issues. Averaged about 18mpg since I bought it
My other Evo IX Recaro will be here on Saturday, it is in better shape than my existing one, so it will become the driver's seat and I'll switch the other one over to passenger duty.
Notes on stereo: Been loading up music on SD cards, which is pretty awesome. Ipod control is better than any other stereo I've used and the Bluetooth is easier to use than any OEM system. Steering wheel controls work like factory. Highly recommend!

Notes: The passenger seat sits a little lower than the driver because of some modifying the previous owner did. The seat belt receptacle bolts right into the Evo seat. I didn't switch over the PDS bladder, so I had to disable the seat belt chime, I'll be putting in the resistor tomorrow. The seat must weigh 20-30lbs less than the OEM passenger seat.

Wagoon .. thats who the other was .. LOL I told ya it has been a long week and my mind was mush .. LOL . Nice to see the gang , hopefully Chris did not get any of you guys sick whan you were talking to him. He is death right now.
Gary , I want a pic of them mounted ;-) and who say you cant drive hoosiers on the street .. LOL I did in the BMW. Just be careful as the steering response is insane on the highway and can surprise you switching lanes .. LOL You will also need Ballistic flaps to protect the paint from all the rocks these tire pic up ... so I guess staying off the street would be best .. LOL

Eh, who knows. I see how it could make a difference once I have everything else in. It will probably go in with the ALK, Master Cyl brace, inner CA bushings and rear camber bushings, so I won't really get an A/B comparo.

Pioneer AVH-P3300BT 5.8-Inch DVD AV Bluetooth Receiver with iPod/iPhone Control:Amazon:Car Electronics

I got the PACSW for the steering wheel interface. My car didn't come with bluetooth, so I don't know about the BT controls, the Pioneer Bluetooth works better than OEM anyway.

Some Gems from the RPF1 manual:
Check: When storing these wheels for a prolonged period of time, protect them direct sunlight, unity, etc.
Converged combustion:
As for the aluminum alloy wheel, which is designed as concave face, with the finishes as like chrome plated or sputtering finish, it is feared that the solar ray would converge by wheel concaved design, it would make a fire in the worst case.
Upon such case, since the converged point becomes high temperature, there is possibility that the converged point would be burned, and be ignited.
Upon fitting to the vehicle, the converged point would be the side area of vehicle, user shall pay attention to watch the surround of vehicle, and shall remove any combustibles from it.
My wheels are so wide they can start fires?

Nothing too noticeable, GRs have somewhat flimsy rear fenders, so it's probably pulled a couple of mm.
