Between my Military and Police experience I think I could hide in the States for at least a few years.

I'd eventually have to cross into Mexico then make my way to one of the many countries in South America that doesn't extradite to the US.

That was my first thought, move up Maine by the allagash. Then i realized that my entire family is there and they'd come looking eventually. My mothers cousin, Lowman, actually lives on the other side of the gate at the end of the 161 in Dicky. It's pretty much the end of the road in Maine. After the gate, it's all logging roads.

i would get caught immediately. plus, i'd be so sick to my stomach that i would never be able to live comfortably... even if i fled the country. look at roman polanski... he stayed overseas yet they still got him. yes, i know he's in the public eye anyways, but he had money protecting him.

Fleeing the country is bad news. Assuming you do it legit they'll have paper trail a mile long on you before your plane lands at it's destination. I've seen just a sliver of what they have at airports at the road-based crossings going into Canada and it's a bit uncomforting (new word? haha) to see. Turning yourself in after committing a federal crime is bad news. Hiding out likely won't work well either. I'd choose disappearing into Maine, or another state with lots of quiet space. Or maybe I'd just not rob a bank. :lol:

Maine hands down, I love camping so I'd have to happen around spring time. Over time I'd move onto canada like Randy said. start a new life over there, lots of small towns to hide in :hide: or just become a drifter and never settle down :shrug:

Id probably acquire a small, forgettable car. maybe steal plates off of something at a body shop or mechanic so they dont come looking for the plates for at least a few days and head south west. every few states grab a new set of plates. maybe even a new car.dye my hair. cut it. grow a beard (or, at least what Im capable of calling a "beard"). use cash. use fake names. and do what I can about hopping on a bus for a "weekend trip" to mexico. once in mexico get as far from the big cities as possible and make my way to south america. since we obviously dont care much about Chile I'd probably try to head there with the remaining cash I have. oh.. and when I hit mexico, not gonna lie.. I'd find some less than reputable characters and would have acquired myself a sidearm. considering if I robbed a few banks, I EXPECT to have a few hundred thousand dollars on me.

then.. I'd "suffer" for my crime for the rest of my probably short life in a beachside hovel in chile or perhaps brazil...

Absolutely, for starters, I absolutely HATE Maine, sorry guys. My dad has a house in Rangeley and is constantly bugging me to go there. I can't stand it. On top of that, if I have a ridiculous amount of money, I'm not sitting in the woods where I can't enjoy it. I'm hanging out on a beach with a blond on each arm and a cooler filled with Corona's.
