Easiest way to kill this? I always wear a seatbelt in the car while driving or riding, but I don't really appreciate my car yelling at me while I'm warming it up or just moving it in and out of the garage. Is there a fuse I can pull or an easy way to disconnect the wires running to the belt clip?

open the seatbelt thingy it locks into and find the two wires, and put them together. unless theres a switch inside tere then just compress the switch and tape it or do the previous option.

As long as you do not have an exploding seatbelt latch look for the harness where it plugs in and just connect it there.

looks like the chime disable is the same on ur car as it is on mine.
1. Ignition on engine off.
2. Within 30 seconds of turning on your ignition buckle and unbuckle your seatbelt atleast 20 times. It is usualy easier to do this not sitting in the seat. If you get it right you will know right away ( no chime ). It took me a couple of times to get this one so if it doesnt work the first time keep trying.
3. To get the chime to work again remove negitive lead to battery for 30 secs than replace. Chime will work as normal.

The 07 imprezas have clip under the driver seat that you disconnect. Did this on my car and havent had anything else shut off. There are 3 yellow clips and 1 white one. disconnect the white one which is the second one from left. I would have a pic if i was smart enough to figure out how to post it.

It's super easy to do. My wife did it first try in her 09 WRX. (she does have skills)
