Hello all!
First of all, I apologize for being kind of non-existant around the boards/meets lately. Working full time, going to school, and getting ready for Miss Maine USA leaves for very little spare time... if any.
On to the Miss Maine part. Considering that I am working so that I can make it through college, I don't have a lot of cash for anything, let alone the pageant. This is where you, or anyone you know can come in. I am in extreme need of sponsorship ($$) so that I can participate. For those of you who know me, making it to Miss USA has been my dream my whole life, and now it can be a reality with your help.
Any money sponsored is tax-deductible for businesses through their advertising expense. The name of the organization/business will be mentioned in the program book, which is seen by over 1000 people attending the pageant. I am also selling ad space in the program book, which can cover my entry fee, which alone is $695. That doesn't even include any of my wardrobe needs, including my gown, interview outfit, and swimsuit.
I would really appreciate any help. For those of you who do not have a business or organization, maybe you know someone who does. Last year I was fortunate enough to raise almost $3,000, which just about covered my expenses. Last year was my first year in the pageant, and coming in 3rd runner up wasn't too bad either. This year, however I am in it to WIN!
