Purchased from a true enthusiast, 2003, 60k, never seen winter, very rarely seen rain and always garaged. Not a dent or scratch anywhere on the car. More to come once shes in my garage.

NICE! The "rarely seem rain" is a bit excessive but that's a lot of money to put on a car. Though a M5 was built to be driven but W/E...

My favorite M5. I love staring at them when ever they come in for service at my job.

Well, he has other cars as well as a few bikes he drives. I mean, I run the Evo 10k a year and it rarely sees rain and no winters, all about maximizing the trips and sunny weather. I dont plan on changing much with this either, right now I am planning to keep the Wagon (although that may change down the road) and still got the Jeep. No sense in me getting this dirtied up unecessarily. :spin:

I thought about the e60 for a bit but I've just loved the e39 since it came out in 2000, I had said it to a few others - if I find exactly what I want, right time, right place I'll grab it and this was it. Right year, miles, color combo, price, condition.

It already has an exhaust, but probably nothing this year, I've already spent too much money. :unamused:
Over the winter to next spring I will most likely do suspension and wheels and probably a brake duct kit like below because I think it just looks mean coming towards you.

I wonder if back in September I ever thought that I was joining a group of people that was just short of exotic car enthusiast, it seems like everyone has an infinite amount of money to spend. That was my jealousy talking. Outside that, freakin awesome car.

Dont worry all - I am not sure I have the appetite to really keep 5 cars - I think I'll realistically sell the wagon, just haven't 100% committed to selling it yet. I just gotta get some miles on the M5 before I make up my mind.

No problem, I have another interested party too - but I still haven't 100% committed to selling it just yet. Although, everything has a price

All mine run.... (as a collective pile of dust flies from my garage as all my cars fall off their wheels, hoods pop, trunks open............. and roof of the garage collapses.).

I think if you total the cost of my collection, it equals the cost of one of your cars.
Did you pick it up yet? I can't tell if you did or not..

No - trying to get it by Thursday because I leave for Vegas on Friday and he is in Seattle next week. He has an extended warranty he transfered from the original owner and his next door neighbor is the Service Manager at Tulley BMW - so he's taking it in to have them do one final sweep under warranty and fix anything they find before we transfer ownership (P&S is in place with deposit). He's trying to get that done this week.
