So Liberty Mutual calls me up today. Now I don't know why they even bother calling me in the first place because I've collected my total loss check, and they own the car, but..They ask me if it would be alright to use my car for a jaws of life demonstration, and in all of the places in new england they could do this, they choose Biddeford, where I lived for the past 4 years going to school (but not where the car was totalled so it's not like they're just leaving it where it stood) Either way, I don't know why they would ask me in the first place, I'd rather not have known cause it still hurts to think about her getting destroyed even more.
On another note..maybe I can get my motor and tranny back out of it and put them in the forester? lol ~rotfl~

if you want to do kind of a half assed job and worry about parts later and if you had help, you could do it pretty quick. just depends what kind of equipment you have and what you have to carry it (truck?)

I would def try to get hold of the engine and tranny if you could, talk about a deal.
Don't think of this car as being destroyed by the jaws. Think about how it's helping your local firefighters/emt's train on using the equipment that may help save someones life.

Yeah definitely, I'm totally for it, it's only going to help these guys do their job better later on to help someone else. I'm just grateful to her for keeping my butt safe from not having to be jaws of lifed out, oh and the sunroof helped too lol. I just don't know that I could stand there and listen to the metal being torn apart. Parting stuff off after the accident was bad enough.

Engine hoist and some other generic tools. Snips and a recip saw. You could have it out in about 20 minutes.
We have an engine hoist at my moms house that Jeff might let you use to rip it out with. It's in portsmouth.

+1. no need to specify which parts unless they ask..... odds are they wont care if it's being used for that demo.
