Exactly. When people go out of the way to cause a stink over something really just annoys the hell out of me. It's pretty clear that Hallmark wouldn't put out a product that blasts any race intentionally. It's both bad for their name and wouldn't sell. There's no reason for them to do it.

i was gonna say do we have any african american members to chime in on this topic but luckily someone already spoke up (even if you are half and half :P don't worry i have 2 cousins who are too believe it or not.). This i think though is one of those cases where someone is looking to bring someone down for no reason... Just because possiably they wanna be still known that they are still large and in charge.

Probably what initially happen to spark this was probably one of the people in this groups kids was in a store.. opened up the card was like "hahah hehehe the card said black whores hehehe" and it went from there.

As said before Hallmark on any circumstances would never produce something to offend anyone like that due to their family oriented nature (hell they have alot of family christian shows and movies that talk about jesus and god and angels and stuff on their channel) so if they found out production of such a profound thing was being made they would instantly pull it and probably fire the person responsible immediately with the fact their reputation is no laughing matter.

And this aint the first time or to just one race or culture or anything that this kinda bs has happened.

Hippies do it alot and they aren't race oriented nor spiritual belief oriented either.

This is in some cases on the same caliber as parents trying to stop Ronald Mcdonald from existing due to kids some how getting fat off his loveable nature.
And banning toys in child meals at fast food restraunts for the same reason.

or the kids who got sent home from a american high school because they wore american flagged clothing on a mexican holiday in america.

Luckily we aren't like the 1600's otherwise there would be alot of burning and hanging and drownings to take place
