crappy season for long rides. I ponder the flying gulf debris mixing with ...stuff...and following the normal pattern all over the midwest and east.

new car ionizing its newbiness into the realm of crap.

Some optimism for your great journey. :D

32mpg..that shoulda put a 2 liter sube at 64. :unamused:

There really is something going on atmospherically. have a safe trip, enjoy some a/c.

I wish I could've stopped there during my road trip last month. The woman with me was driving when we passed it and thought it was a stupid idea.

To the OP, I'd reccomend not driving through Kansas or Nebraska. BORING AS HELL and dangerous at night (deer and critters).

Just came back from Utah a couple months ago! While in Utah, stop at In n' Out Burger. Best fast food ever.

Oh yeah, it's a long ass drive. I'm assuming your going to SLC, if you have time, go 4hrs south to Moab and play around there for a day. Then, you can just take 70 for most of the way across. Colorado is very nice until after Denver, where it gets flat until Pennsylvania. Kansas isn't terrible, but there is nothing. MI is about the same.

Things to do in SLC:

Tour the Temple Square
Go up to the Mts
Moca Salsa has amazing Mexican food for cheap
Race people on State St hahaha
Enjoy the warm weather and nice cars.
