its little more than a 2 door corolla for people who dont want to rice out a civic, or guidos who want a chick car other than an eclipse.

just stick with subies, you'll be a better person for it. lol

This is one of the few cars I've been into that the cool people to asshats out of the people who own them ratio isnt horribly skewed in the wrong direction.

240sx owners on the other hand....(no offense rckstr, you know I dont mean you ;) )

I've been in a TRD supercharged, full bolt-on tuned TC... Just under 200 whp or something stupid :unamused: He paid over $4000 for all those mods.

Then it got repo'd it was the best thing that could have happened.

Calling Scion almost the same as a Toyota? Toyota isnt what it used to be...

I don't ever remember seeing "Neon" anywhere on the one I used to drive all the time... Maybe he debadged it? Also, equal length half shafts ftw.

You may be misunderstanding torque steer as wheelspin... We are a spoiled bunch in our AWD car... we are.

Also, to stay relevant, I enjoy the styling of most Scion's, tC included, but the lack of awd or even rwd in their line up kills it for me :(

get on the gas hard and the wheel would damn near come out of your hand.. :iam:

scions are girls cars. and in that light, they're ok in my book. as long as a girls driving

and we're DEFINITELY spoiled.. I like it that way..

My truck was a rude awakening as to how fickle 2wd vehicles are, you actually NEED to pay attention to when you open it up.. WTF? :iam:

truf. I had several RWD's before I got my 96, and a few FWD's. and when I first took off in my 96l couple, ej18/5mt I was like. whoa.. wait.. wtf?!

Naw, that's as Ed described I'm sure. Torques steer would still leave the wheel in the same hold in your hands but have an unpredictable change in steering angle as the load shifts. Am I right in how indescribed it Ed?

 none taken

TC's are girls cars IMO, I'm just going to leave it at that. and ya the whole FWD part... huge deal breaker right there...

You must have torque to have torque steer. :unamused:

Neons had a bunch of TQ steer, as any (non Focus RS) hi-power FWD car does. Worse was the wheel hop you get from the ****ty motor mounts.

I absolutely love how well this car holds the road. Granted I came from a 4x4 Tacoma but I've driven plenty of "normal" sedans and this thing just sticks like glue to the 90 degree turns into my office complex, 2nd gear, gas pedal to the floor. It pisses off the jogger dweebs who use the roads during lunch but that's not my problem. And that is with a stock suspension and stock tires. I'd love to see how it would handle with a tighter suspension and better rubber.

scion tc..
what is the big bad difference in that one.
toyota corolla, honda civic.. who cares.

I had to look up "scion tc".. I don't even keep track of the little eggshaped 20 gauge nightmares.

I have an old sube with torque steer... I learned the first generation of the chassis shipped the front right spring sitting backwards in its seat. 23 years later... I am gonna get to that chore. I mean it. One of these decades...

I like to see the accidents.. if you are looking at a certain model, the net is good for this.
