an entertaining thought: (I should put this in member journal, but am not done with the chore yet)

as some know I have welded my entire car...to the point of comical at the scope of what I have done with nearly 200 hours.....one end to the other, like a typewriter , back and forth. new panles, on and on..fabrication...In fact this week is yet another mig reel on order (12 makes 24 pounds in just mig).

I have seen these given up at a wheel well rotted (junk piled).. I just keep on going....

this is the most surprising injury I have uncovered yet. the area of the hole is a doubled overlap, and a wheel arch end making it a triple. I saw some rust on the new rocker edge started stabbing...poked a hole with my finger, and precisely so...all around it is as installed.
the error?

I forgot to vacuum one crevice in 2007...size of a golf ball of dirt with a peculiar acidic odor... less than 3 years later, this is my reward.

little itty bitty hiddens in these buggies. if it were not for the top hole? I would not have found it...
