hey yeah another freakin new guy, name's Troy, I'm in MA, and I have an 09 OBS.

I love these cars, I've owned three of them starting with an 06.

The WRX and STi have always been out of my $ range at the time of purchase but with this 09... I've been wondering what I can do to spice things up a little.

From what I've read here so far I'm gonna be looking into intake/exhaust first.

Advice & suggestions welcome.

OBS FTW!!!!
I'd suggest exactly the intake as exhaust and a tune.(yes the tune is worth it! Bren Tuning will set you all up! :up:) But before that i's suggest going all out on the suspension. Springs, sways, bushings, endlinks, etc. Makes a zippy NA car outrun even WRXs

I just sold a '10 OBS to a guy up here.... we did:

Rear Sway Bar (because it doesn't have a stock one at all)
Short shifter w/bushings.
Hawk HPS pads.
Stainless steel brake lines.
Rear Diff isolation bushings.
Drop in Filter (for now).

Turned it into a different car...

The OBS's are so much fun to modify because not a lot of change makes them a lot different.

^^Do all that stuff, you can probably get an STI SE swaybar from ^^ for under $100 and that would be a huge difference.

Steering rack bushings are also a must for any Subaru. Check with Bren-tuning in the forum to see if he has 09 Impreza definitions, I know there are none for 2010 Imprezas.

Thanks everyone! Haven't been online much this weekend, and have a busy week ahead.

Pics coming as soon as I find time to take some and get them uploaded - probably a week or so due to my schedule. It's just an all stock 09' OBS (for now) sure you've all seen plenty of those.

Oh Berge56... I'm in Ayer, well I sleep there (most of the time) but I'm not really an indoor cat so I'm usually somewhere else.
