I saw them when I was a little kid. I think it was a year or so after one of them had crashed so it was a pretty big deal to see them. Those guys are amazing for being able to fly those jets the way they do.

For the most part they stayed over Pease today, but two of the pilots decided to give us an impromptu show at the shipyard. They came screaming in, one tucked under the other's wing, and did a hard full throttle bank about 70 feet above the rooftops. Awesome.

When they come to Quonset RI I sit in the closest parking lot and watch them practice. I tell you it is spine tingling to see them fly over @ 250 feet in formation.

The first air show we had here back in 91 there was an F15E that took off and went full afterburner, straight up right in front of us. I was like getting hit in the chest with a 2x4 piece of wood. I think I pissed my pants it was so awesome.
