inspection places?

I need to get my car inspected this month and need a place that'll pass it. One of my cats fell out of my car, RIP jojo, and now it's hard to find a place to get it done. Anyone gots any ideas?

durham village garage passed my car no problem. they only do a visual check, no odbii

In new hampshire it is a law now that you must have a computer that is networked to the state if you are a licensed inspection station. You MUST run the OBD 2 diagnostics and let the state know about it. You, the customer, get a piece of paper saying that that was done that must remain in your car, and it is sent to the state. If, you dont recieve one of these from the place that inspects your car, id ask them cause it is illegal. You will be held accountable for it.

sorry. DVG does not do a sniff test, but rather a visual test. They do ODBII reads, but the AP hides those cells

It may be maine but cars less then 2 or 3 years old don't have to undergo emission's test unless the light is on.

I had mine done in dover at the shop across the street from Goss on Portland Ave. They plugged it in, but didn't put the car on a lift, and asked me how the brakes and suspension were. So if you aren't showing a cel you are golden. Also the car has to be newer than 1996 or 1998 I think, to have to plug it in to the diagnostics.

I went for inspection to TriCity with OS and they didn't care either. Inspected no problem. The only issue was if you remember they forgot to tighten my front wheel.

if u dont have front windows done andj ust darker in the back, i would go to DVG. If you have fronts done, i would suggest ripping it off

He's got rears done only. If it's 35%, show them receipts and you all set. It's less than 35% risk and say you lost receipts. TriCity didn't ask me for receipts at all.

Yea it should pass no problem, it's just missing a cat or 2. Last yea i had an AP on it though, this year i have an ingenuity map. No cel's though so i should be good to go. I'd rather go to a place that i know will be good to modded cars so i don't have to pay twice to get it done.

i havent fixed my highbeams yet, its too cold to work on the car, Do i need highbeams, i mean will i fail beacuse they dont work?

yes highs are necessary
my rx7 had no horn, whipers, e-brake, leaky gastank, rust holes and a bad exhaust. my 86 corolla was mostly made from metal tape and newspaper.

Talk to the guys at Synaptic, they told me to let them know when i am ready to get mine inspected because they know a place that will pay no attention to whats going on under the hood. ~ok~
