Nope, it's just real men have jobs that don't close for snow ;)

The causes I 'fight' (I use the word lightly since I don't actually fight anything or anyone by definition) for I also believe in. Last time I checked saving people from death at sea is a pretty good cause. Also trying to stop drugs from entering our country is a pretty good cause to believe in too (for the record I don't believe in the method at the moment, but you can ask me about that another time).

I won't be home until 6:30-7pm tonight Vlad. Probably won't go out since I have to work tomorrow morning nice and early. I still want to know where the spot is so I can hit it during the MAJOR Nor'Easter that is going to hit this Sunday (unless I go up skiing). I keep being told all about it and invited to go multiple times but no one will do the simple task of giving me an address to report to.

So Randy, Brandon, and I were all at Dunks afterwards, and there's a cop that pulls into a parking lot and turns off all his lights and sits there for a half-hour. He then pulls next to our cars and looks like he's running our plates. He leaves and not 5 minutes later is back sitting behind my car blocking it in for anther few minutes. He then drives off giving us a good eye-****ing.

This might of had something to do with the fact that Randy slid into his parking spot, but we're not sure.

Didn't make it to the "spot" last night. Left work at about 5:45, South Portland city drivers were a bunch of idiots as usual. Once I got south of Biddeford it was 55-65 mph driving for me, passing cars and trucks all over.

Got off I-95 in Kittery as usual and hit up my spot for about 15 minutes worth of snow drifting. At home about 7:30-7:45 and had a huge headache so I grabbed some dinner, took a shower, popped some pills and laid down in bed for the night.

If I'm not skiing on Sunday then I'll come out with anyone for some nice Nor'easter drifting and I'll bring the video camera.

York Hospital just sent me a copy of the bill they're sending my Military Insurance (TriCare). All I have to say is ouch. I went there the week before Thanksgiving because I was really sick. They seem to think the 1 hour I was there to find out I had a 103 degree temp and a really bad throat virus cost $433.

Funny thing is that the text says "This is a copy of the bill that we are sending your insurance company. Once they declare how much of the bill they will cover we will send you another letter containing a bill for the remainder of the amount."

I've already done the whole ER thing a couple times in the Military. It never works out right. TriCare will only cover so much of a Hospital bill, not matter the cost (don't ask me how the calculate how much they cover, no idea). Then the Hospital turns around and does their normal thing by billing the person the remainder, except TriCare has a contract out with attached laws that pretty much says that the Hospital has to eat the remainder cost. No Military person will be charged for healthcare in other words. Hospitals try to get away with not having to eat the remainder cost by billing the Military member any way.

Example: My bill is $433 from York Hospital. York Hospital sends that bill to my Military Insurance, TriCare. TriCare pays $340 of the bill. This leaves $93 left to be paid. Usually that gets charged to the person. This isn't supposed to happen to Military members. The Hospital should just eat the $93 and call it a day. Instead what has happened to me before, and will probably happen again is that I'll get sent a bill for that remaining $93. I'll promptly go to my TriCare official and have them send a nice letter telling the Hospital that it's a Federal crime for them to do that lolz.
