I'm stuck here at work until 5:30 tonight and I have nothing to do. I'm not even avoiding regular work, nor procrastinating. I simply have no projects to finish up and I can be pretty much gauranteed no Search and Rescue cases are going to happen today.

So here I am, in front of a computer at a desk all day listening to the 13 radio towers. Stuck listening to a bunch of Maine and NH lobstermen talking about stuff I don't care about, or talking nearly indistinguishable english.

In addition I have no personal life stuff to take care of the internetz except to figure out what classes I'd like to take next month from my college. That'll waste about 10 minutes of the next 9.5 hours I have left.

Entertain me with stories, work safe interweb links, ways to fold paper airplanes for best results, etc. etc.

The forum is far from entertaining me. I still have 7 more hours of work and I've been here since 5:30am.

No I won't be at Newicks tonight. I have a holiday party to go to with a bunch of friends at the Courtyard Marriott in Portsmouth from 8pm-12pm.

This sucks right now. Usually people leave early on Friday from here, starting around 2:30pm and pretty much an empty base except for essential workers by 4pm.

Tonight is the Holiday Party for the base (which I'm not attending, instead I'm going to a Holiday Party that my friend is putting on at a hotel with about 100 people I actually know). That means that people going to the holiday party tonight can leave at 12pm, which pretty much everyone took advantage of even though they probably aren't going.

4 more hours of boredom...

Rentals are fine if I don't want to bring my own equipment. Lift tixs are sweet.
