so I recently got a rear disc swap for my 99L and I started having trouble right off the bat trying to disconnect the brake hose from the line. with my car being a vermont car they did not want to come apart so the guy at autozone told me to get some brake line and http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Tools-Garage-and-Equipment/Compression-Fitting/_/N-25nn?filterByKeyWord=brake+line+connector&fromString=search (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Tools-Garage-and-Equipment/Compression-Fitting/_/N-25nn?filterByKeyWord=brake+line+connector&fromString=search)
so I did that not realizing that those say "NOT FOR BRAKE LINES" so now I have no idea what to do since I already cut my lines and attached those.
any suggestion?
Ill get pictures up when I get a chance
thanks,
-James

If it is an issue with the hard line you could cut it back as little as possible and try to put a new end on it or you could replace the whole line if it is rusted in more places. If the softline is damaged maybe time to upgrade to Goodrich SS lines

If you're upgrading to calipers you might as well do braided lines.
The return on investment is high ;)

Your best bet and safest way to do it. Is to trace the line back to the distribution block and replace it to the brake caliper. If you can't do that with what you have available you can cut the line back shorter put a new end and re-flare it and then get an adapter and add a short piece of line to go to the soft line.

theres no distribution block seprate lines all the way back they run inside under the passengerside rear seat then foward replace them from under the seat to the flexlines

Ahhh :| well I guess cutting the line back and putting a normal end on and then getting an adapter to go to a new line would be the easiest way to do it. Just make sure to use some pipe sealant where the adapter and the new line and old line thread together.

just from under the passengerside rear seat. your going to need a double flaring kit, fittings and its cheaper to buy a roll of brake tubing then to buy them prefabed lines.
