How do you go about getting them off?

The "subaru" was removed from my trunk but the RS stickers and the awd are still on there and sort of look funny.

Hairdryer and fingernails? A little WD40 to remove residual adhesive?

TIA

I use plastic razor blades that are produced specifically for the purpose. They're available online; ~200 blades cost me around $11. That and a heat gun or good hairdryer will soften the stuff up well. Get the leftovers off with 3M Trim Adhesive Remover, GooGone(weak), WD-40(weak), or rubbing alcohol. Then just wax the area really well when you're done. If I see him soon, I'll send Unsakred out with some of the blades to the next WYW meet.

I think I have a sack of those plastic razor blades too.

The 3M spray adhesive remover is awesome.

A sunny, warm day would help you but the forecast is utter crap for the next 10 days.

Hey, did you get those from me? I can't ever remember what I did with the second baggie of them.:)

P.S. You said 'sack'

I say don't use razor blades!!!! I tried that when I was removing the pin striping and took off some paint.

I used a hairdryer and and old credit card (or something to the sorts).

Ah but plastic razor blades arent any sharper than.. something that isn't very sharp..

And yes VP that must be where I got mine from. :)

Yes second that, for plastic blades. Dana, can you tell me where to purchase them? I need.

Personally I used my finger nails in the past. Then I would use BUGaTAR or what ever you call it to remove glue leftover. And finally, like Dana said, I would polish the area.

Yep, big difference in the thickness and edge on a steel vs. plastic blade. Plastic is about 5 times thicker, and as such won't scratch the paint or you unless you're TRYING to do some harm. Plastic is about 2% as sharp, too.:)
