subaru doesn't use anything.

just recently, I got a water pump, has the a1 casting.. a passive impeller that did not match the part that I bought (as it turned out, it was a passive impeller with a modern update, and it was ok).. 3 studs for the fan, and a ripped gasket.

nowhere on the box did it mention A1 Cardone, only the casing of the pump has it. I would have returned to sender otherwise. Could be counterfiet. It strangely sounds like a supercharger.. as if no quality assurance.

companies buying up big get a bigger defense. What does subaru do? Even the parts for subaru come from all over with strange names. How bout that crap for gasket called "ishino"..
