intersection at walmart a few hours ago some old lady from flordia ran a stop sign. blew one of my hankook i pikes.and spun me 180 .I managed to pry the fender out and slap the donut on to drive home. the car seems to drive fine still but its messed up pretty good.
had my freind come over and take some pics of the carnage with the d40

called my insurance company but they can't do anything till monday morning at the least.

Ouch, sorry to see that. Good to see you're okay. Cars can be fixed or replaced easily, people are not.

umm its gonna be maybe a week before I find out how much its gonna cost to fix it. I might be trading it in for a 08 titan crew cab depending on the damages.

one good thing I just picked up my rental thats the lady's insurance is paying for. ended up getting a chevy equinox. awd slug turned of trac control did a few nice burnouts lol.

titan huh. thats a pretty pimp truck. well i hope everything works out for ya. So its true what they say, nothing revs like a rental.

I hope it snows out tomorow so I can go do some cyclones in it :)

I had fun with my last rental crew cab v8 f150. I took 50k miles off it's life lol

Kevin

never got the limited spoiler. I bought the prodrive axel back instead. I got the car back tues night. cotes auto body did a great job. they even fixed a few dents that had nothing to do with the crash.
oh ya no frame damage wich was a plus.
also the new tires was the same tread depth as the old ones.
here are some pics

Kevin

I think I'll get an auto. So far the used one's I've seen on autotrader have been mostly auto's. It's gonna be my dd and dump runner for the house I'm buying.

Hows the mpg I get like 12-17 with my sti lol

I have mine loaded down with ladder racks and my bed is always full (approx 300 lbs) plus i took my back seats out and have some racks in there. 20 gallons usually gets me about 250-270 miles depending on my driving mood.

another thing is if you do decide to get one. you definately need to put a clear coat or rust protector of some sort at the bottom corners of the bed behind the rear doors. Rust started showing at 40,000 miles. i had them sanded and repainted and now at 60k they are starting to rust again. I am definately going to have to remedy this before it starts spreading.
