In Manchester here:

Still snowing out with a mix of some kind of ice pellets coming down at the same time. I have no clue how much is out there but I'd guess 18 inches by looking where it is up to on some things outside, the killer though is the howling winds. They just don't stop and are incredibly strong.

dan is outside snow blowing the drive way now. our office is closed until 1130 and they're going to reassess for the afternoon. however, i don't think they'll have a problem opening. just looks like it's windy and not really snowing now. i'm glad they closed the morning though (they've NEVER EVER closed like this before unless the power was out, and even then they usually make us go in and wait 2 hours), makes it easier to drive and probably safer. the puppies love it though, there is so much snow they have to hop to get anywhere  it's cute as **** though and they love it! as a matter of fact, yoshi is sitting by the slider staring out the window waiting to go back out

So I was at work til 10:00, then decided to leave. Got stuck in my work parking lot bc there was about a foot of snow and noone plowed. Got home to a driveway filled with snow. Gunned it into the snow and got it about 10 ft in before i high-centered it. Spent the last hour and a half snow blowing the driveway and freeing up the forester to get it into the garage. once that was done, went over to the ram, started it, cleaned it off, put it in 4wd and drove out thru three feet deep plow snow.

it is a well known gov't organization called "noaa".
they went as far as 18 to 22 before the whole discussion disappeared for crazy math. Those people are as funny as a snowy hurricane. :unamused:

seems to be a bomb as stated. Center street is hilarious in this, with the cars that never stop for anything.
there was an "almost all wheel drive" stuck in the powder.

it seems to be at ten inches or so... near white out. this should end quick, in the meantime it is getting it's way with bangor.

did you see the icebox record broken?

-46F, 100 year record.

keep an eye on clayton lake coming days.
I would crap if bangor goes beyond a -28 (the record).

the plow is revealing definitely a foot or more as of now, snow winding down.. very light, pushing large piles shortbed pickup.

I am going to swap antifreeze for the max..as if -15F on a tester was not strong already.

no doubt.

north in bangorian siberia, the ratios are still claimed to be 12:1.. at below zero all evening and a high in the teens for the storm.. that should be 20 inches to 1 inch of rain.

36" to 40" more this saturday.:)

I drove arond today, state street, cumberland...
a 2wd ambulance climbing it in front of me.

I may drift away from subes....cars get by. Until i took the corner at state street, car sideways stuck in the road.. some strange slime there by irving.. all four wheels sending a slippery crud. I changed my mind after that.

normal oil pressure would be great, not that old subes need oil to run. just swap out the nuclear twelve year capsule.

Snowing in York. silly October, thinking it's December.

I was just watching snow in the big apple..branches snapping in central park.

1st time in october in 49 years. :unamused:

local is tied with a relatives birthday, oct 7th.
anytime after that is not a surprise. This bangor north has more unwritten fibs than an 87 subaru...

japan had fun with the world this coming season.

anyone remembers chernobyl flying around. holy cow.

36 below in january and 90 degrees april 1st... 3 years after chenobyl. what a thrasher.

japans stuff is much smaller scale, and still hot enough to be moving the cold around.

if it is satisfied now, maybe a normal winter follows...wishful thinking.

not even a sun storm does what bad nukes do.

I did not know that was humanly possible.
why they target a group of people and not find more?
or is the hours with time to stay legal with breaks and hours off with pay?

I thought my tour in the military was the biggest law breaker ever... 96.5 hours is quite a few.

I see single digits on north america and -20s on the other continent...this could be hellacious times to come. Some of itis sinking right nto american states already. new england gets it eventually. I would laugh evil if new york acts like a typical northern maine season.
