Depends how gutless the car is... I'd imagine it could work if done correctly.

I suppose it could work. You would probably want to have some pretty heavy duty suspension on the thing to support the weight. Idk why you would want to risk the damage to your vehicle that is inherent in plowing.

true...

there is an 80s jeep local with the small plow ( most know they got smaller hubs than an old subaru GL), in fact it is mechanic owned.. he got the little plow stuff figured out too.

I would only do it in a gear reduced version, stronger rockers.. and sure engine mount arms have a clean end at body and bumper...

then freight it to be able to push more.. and that of course needs even more strengthening.

it could be done for real, if you really think it over...acknowledging the machines mistakes from the get go is good for any extra we do with them.

the boxer can handle it, that is a bonus.. but the transmissions are meant for everyday road, and so is the body flexing. Tugging a ton is not the same as pushing..

I had a tractor plow on my Brat for a while a few winters ago, just to plow my little driveway. It worked well, I used the winch to lift and lower it. I dunno about something real big though, as mine was quite light
