Ok, If you get into Durham, You'll be in what the locals like to call the Durham 500 (It's the one way loop arround downtown.) WYW is in the middle of this loop.

As you're driving arround this loop, there will be Three UNH Buildings on the right. One is under construction, and there is a bus stop in front. After these three buildings is Mill drive. Take the right on too mill drive. You will go past a parking lot (this is not B-Lot). The next road after the parking lot is College Drive. Turn right on to it. B Lot is on the left. The entrance is down the street a little bit.

We always go for B-lot because of the space issue. You can also Park in B-lot for free before 6 as long as you stay with the car (to make sure you don't get a ticket)

It was a good evening:

The wings were hot, but not THAT hot!
Some sweat and my eyes watered a bit, but still took care of a 10 piece.
I think it was the extra side of "way hot" sauce cooling things down a bit that made the difference.
(Note that I could not actually taste any chicken, of course....)

Thought I was going to get a ticket on the drive home, but managed to avoid it. (Knock on wood.)

And I learned one new thing about the 2008 WRX, at least mine:
Passenger side windshield wiper quit working thanks to just a little bit of snow. :(
Hopefully just a glitch on my car and not something common.

Good meeting folks, though... if I can manage to remember names is another matter. ;)

Quick update-

Just returned from the dealer getting the wiper looked at.
Apparently it is not exactly and uncommon thing to happen: snow/ice buildup can loosen up the retaining nut just a bit and the wiper arm stops moving.

So nothing broken, and a very easy fix if it happens (13mm wrench, pop the cover off and tighten).

But I am going to hope that it doesn't happen again, because the snow was not that bad last night, and if it happens regularly I would have to call it a bad design.


And what was the original subject again?






BTW- the wings went down hot last night, but all is well with the world today. :)

Supreme, with a side order of Way Hot to cool them down. :)

Spicy, and tasty but in truth too spicy to actually taste any chicken...
Could have been cardboard and I wouldn't have tasted the difference.

It was actually the other way-

The wings HAD supreme, which I was told by the staff is basically Habanero rendered and mixed with some sauce stuff, and the side was Way Hot.

I ate the first few straight up, and even I, who claim to be immune to hot and spicy foods found it hotter than was strictly pleasant. And I don't MIND my food giving me the sweats.


I think the way I'll go next time is to get whatever is a notch below Way Hot and a side of the Supreme to kick it up a bit as needed. :devil:
And that way I'll be able to actually taste chicken... occasionally.

It was good meeting the few of you I really DID meet, and expect I'll show up again to meet more.
And fill the atmosphere with the scent of Habanero yet again.
