saw this on you tube comments.
yes but these cars have dog boxes so they don't actually need to use the clutch to shift. it just saves the dogs on up shifts to clutch it. on down shift you can just downshift while hard on the brake with no clutch.

I do not know dog box, until going back to prehistoric chunks of straight geared trannies from 1945.

I drove a 283 tow truck with one.. pathetic excuse for a transmission, unless half the cost of a normal bevel/synchro.

Yes dogbox cut gear sets can be thrown and actually have to be thrown hard and fast with or without the clutch engaged or disengaged. Still need to be moving before you can just throw honor down through the gears. Not like a tiptronic fancy electronic clutch stuff. More pure mechanical if anything.
