I have been toying with the idea to upgrade my 06 Legacy and want to accomplish some simple mods. I would like to find a shop that is reasonably priced that regularly works on on Subarus.

I have been thinking about starting off with a spring kit to improve handling and lower the stance.

If anyone has recommendations as to a shop, feel free to chime in. Also if you have changed out the springs (1.4 inch / 1.3 inch drop), were you able to run an 18inch rim? If so what size tires will fit without rubbing? 225/40?

those wheels should fit without rubbing depending on the offset...

i dunno if this helps, but i am running 225/40/18 's on STOCK springs and have at least 2" of clearance. so that is just to give you an idea.

I'll try to find a pic and you can se for yourself.

Buy some TEIN H-Techs.

They fit perfect with 18's :)
