I think it looks better than the sedan version. It balances out the huge looking fenders.

i wonder how the wheels would look on my rex. not a fan of the new leggys though. the headlights reach way too far up the fenders..

Not really a fan, I like the last generation of Legacys better, they are just too big now.

I like it! The only thing is those fenders are weird. It's almost as if they made the car and they mad the wheels. When they went to put the wheels on the car, they said "Oh ****, they stick out! Better make a weird bubble thing to make the fenders stick out more!"

I like the last generation as well, but the wagon isn't so bad :hide:

Because the rest of the world realize wagons are cool. Us americans attach a stigma to "the wagon"

Why? :spin:

Because subaru needs to be profitable, and will in all honesty be as boring as toyota someday i'm sure. They're moving away from the niche market that they have always been because toyota has them in their pocket and wants them to make teh money, hence the neutering of the cool ****.

So, out of curiosity... where DO they sell these bad boys, and what year is this a picture of?

Gary, If you have any pull with the big wigs of Subaru and get one of these wagon to your dealership I'll be in to purchase it from you

Hell, If you guys can have a 2011 STI into a convert, having you get me this should be a piece of cake, lol

They sell them everywhere except the "good 'ol USA", and it's the current model. 10/11.

Agreed, I knew it looked familiar, the fenders/wheel wells just don't look right

The only way you'll end up with this is if you make it unfortunately.

2011 GT (Powertrain/Nose/Suspension) $31,395
2011 Outback (Body) $23,195

Throw them in a blender, and voila'!

Still cheaper than a convertible STI.

I've never been much of a fan of Honda, but they're really going the same way too. They haven't done anything real noticable since 2002. They had the s2000 which was a great tuner car, and yet it was pretty expensive. I mean, given 36k, I'd buy an STi any day just out of reliabiliity should I actually need it in the snow. They had the Civic Si, I mean the good version, 2000-2001, and then they came out with that retarded HB with the weird shifter. They really haven't done anything good in years and it's because they're changing their focus from tuners to more conservative people, especially hybrid users. Tuning was born from people who didn't want to buy a new car so started modifying their current car. It's such a disappointment that people buying new cars right now might be looking at the end of an era where cars are no longer sent from the factory focused on being a true performer.

The EP3 was the bastard child of the SI. It made the same HP as the EM1 SI with more TQ but because it didn't have the 8K redline and "real" vtec it got flammed pretty well. Even though it was no slower stock and actual quicker with boltons than the previous SI. The seats were very comfortable and the hatch made for a ton of room inside for just about anything. It was nice though having a SI that nobody really wanted to steal and strip
