Been building this for the past few months, thought i should finally post it up.

I bought a 04 Forester xt with low compression and other issues, yanked the motor out and sent it to Ballistics, Found cracked valve. SO went balls out and built it. I went with the following in the motor.

Manely Pistons and rods
bc valves and retainers
crower 264 cams
08 nitrated sti crank
tgv deletes
acl race bearings
Agency power header
arp head studs
Powdercoated intake manifold red(like the sti)

Going today to pick up the motor. This week i bought some other parts for the XT, i got used:

perrin Rotated 35r kit
Tial waste gate
perrin fuel rail and system
perrin Front mount kit
05 sti transmission
05 sti struts on lowering springs
05 gold sti wheels
05 sti brembo brakes

Car should be running on break in tune buy the next week or so, i have some used injectors that need to be tested to see what they actualy are. I will post some pics in the next day or so.

Any pics at the moment would be a stock fozzy with no motor...lol so imagine a stock one 2 inches or so higher then usual in the front.. :D

I just google front mount for 04 forester and saw how other people cut theres, it wont be super clean but it will work till i find a bumper that has a spot for an intercooler. I might fab up the front mount today so we will see how it works out.

Just dropped off the injectors for flow testing and stuff. Dropped off the turbo to get powdercoated and ceramic coated.

Body is going to stay stock minus, stock sti door stickers, debaged(only and sti emblem). stock sti golds, and stock sti brembos. lol it will look like a stock 04 Forester STI would look like if they made one.

Thanks.. I was wanting to test my 660's bit now im just selling.them, hopefully pick up some 740's . You should have picked up the 850's that were on here. Guy had 2 sets, I wanted to but Alex said they would be a pita to tune on my set up.

Pulling is this weekend hopefully, i think it might a clean swap im just not sure how the adjustable diff is going to work out being not hooked up.

Over seas only.. no US FSTI . The XT Sport is the closest in appearance with the bumpers and Sti wheels.

I now understand the facepalm, now in the 06-07 STi's do we have the ability to mess with the center diff or is that just in the UK and Japan editions?

04 and up stis all have that ability, if you do a swap from 5 speed to the sti 6 speed it goes to defore 60%rear 40% front power. all the stis have different gearing tho

i believe the adjustable center diff works off yaw sensors which are located in the Sti abs unit....as far as how its controlled when placed in automatic. friend of mine is swapping an entire sti into a 2.5 rs and going rotated 35r also. he believes it should work when done manually but said they make aftermarket controllers for situations like this

im using a Perrin front mount kit for an 05 sti. if you put the bumper bracket and intercooler upside down it fits mint. You just have to cut a rather large hole in the front pumper and the fog lights wont fit anymore.

the stuff isnt complete junk, but not worth swapping over, tranny and rear end is out tho, but i will just not be cheap and buy coilovers and buy a brake kit.....later in life. But the main thing was tranny, rear end, cvs, and drive shaft. Car also had a stock clutch:Facepalm:, so i have to buy a clutch and flywheel now.....wtf. price scotty?

UPDATE:

got the turbo back. tranny and rear diff are ready to go in, just waiting on the machine shop to resurface my flywheel. New act stage 4 clutch here and ready. Gunna drop the motor in today and test fit the IC pipes.
