Anyone have any experience with the Ebay lips? I have read some **** nasioc with mixed opinions. I would love to get the V Limited but its just silly expensive. I just cant justify spending that much loot on something thats only for looks.

I was looking at those ebay lips too but I don't think they're too reliable. Think I might get this one: http://www.fastwrx.com/fivstfrlip.html
It's been on sale for $219 since I first looked at it a year or so ago so I don't think it's going to go up higher then $219.

Ya, I have checked out that one as well. Again though its a good amount of loot for an aesthetic item, at least IMO. I am still thinkin about it. The ebay lips just look like theyre cheap and warp easily.

Fastwrx.com is where I purchased my lip from. Very durable and the quality is great. Fit perfect, just like an authentic V-Limited lip from Subaru.
The only issue I've had with it is its finish. The finish will begin to bleach over time due to sun exposure, but I've hit it with some Forever Black which seems to solve the problem.
I'll be removing it this spring and spraying it with some flat black paint. The paint will give it protection from bleaching, plus give it a nice matte finish, which I prefer over the gloss finish the Forever Black leaves behind.

im going to make one for the wrc bumper too, it has a bow to the bottom of the bumper and i think the 1/2" gap between the lip and a CF bumper would look Sick! For now i just wanna finisht he hood.

Ya, that would be nice. I am just such a cheapo when it comes to aesthetics. I would love to get something soon cause I want a new look. I need to save for some Koni inserts or AGXs or something for this Auto X season.

Mounting was very simple. I was one of the first to order the lip from fastwrx.com when they were first produced, and at that time, because I didn't want to wait, it was shipped without any mounting hardware. (I believe they are now sold with the screws to mount it.)
It's mounted using seven screws and five OEM push-in body fasteners (already under the car holding on the black plastic bumper trim).
Since you have access to a lift and can easily get the car off the ground, it will only take you a matter of 10-15 min to install.
