which tires to run?

i will be buying a set of rims in the next week or two. the wheels will either be 18x8.5 with +48 offset or 17x8 or 9. with +35 offset for the 8" and +42 for the 9". they look like the rota grids and im thinking of going bronze in color. anyways i was wondering what size tires to run on them. 255? 245? i know the side wall will be like a 40 or 35. will be lowered soon too. just looking at what your opinions are? thanx

Won't he need a roll on a bugeye with those specs? Either way I concur with 245.

i can roll the edges. thats no big deal. ya im getting 17x8 with 245 45 17's. should look good.
