I saw this on some other forum and liked the way it looked, so I decided to do it my self. I researched interior different materials and came across UltraSuede. It's a fake suede that high end car companies use instead of the real stuff because of it's quality and durability. I bought a yard for $44 shipped.
First I removed the door panels and peeled off the existing material on the door card. I used this as a template to cut my new piece from.

Next I sprayed 3M adhesive on the door and started to tuck in the edges and flatten the air bubbles.

I'll post pics of them in the car tomorrow. I'm also having my friend sew inserts in the seat covers next week with the same material.

I bought it from an ebay store, But I forget the name. The brand of material is UltraSuede. I just typed that in a search on ebay and a bunch of stores sell it in different amounts. Hope that helps!

After a few people talking about redoing their headliners, I think I might do mine over with the same red Ultrasuede that I used on my door cards here.

nice, I'm thinking of doing mine red aswell. since this thread is almost a year old, how are the door cards holding up? did the glue hold up?

They are holding up great! They have gotten wet a few time from rain and snow and the fabric dries like new. The color hasn't faded a bit, and the glue seems to be holding up fine too. I'm very happy with this fabric!:D

i think the glue i got doesnt like the cold. it peeled a little in the front arm areas from use but, i think i can fix that with a better upholstery glue this spring.
