View Full Version : Need opinions on this solution to saggy butt!

Okay, so here's my idea, but I need expert advice as to whether or not it is feasible...
I tow a small pop-up camper and am constantly whacking the trailer hitch on any and everything that is larger than an ant hill. I kind of like the stance of the Legacy and lifting it the Outback heights would be expensive (plus I have brandy-new GR2s in it). So, here's my thought, would it work if I installed stiffer lowering springs with Subtle or Primative spacers and saggy butt spacers? I would only be lifting it .25" to .5" inch in the front and maybe .75" to 1" in the rear, I'd have stiffer springs that the rear wouldn't droop so much when towing and I would still enjoy some handling improvements over stock and somewhat maintain its current stance.
So, am I complete off-base here or would this work?
Thanks in advance!

 I had them in my 455ci Formula Firebird. :e

Question; My friends OBXT "pogos" when hitting dips in the road. He's tried Ralitek HD springs and KYB's with so-so results. Who makes a rear shock/struts with rebound damping adjustment for an Outback?

Those are nice, I need to convince him he needs to spend some money to get it to ride the way he wants. He MADE me put KYB GR2's in, Ughhhhhhhhh!!!!! I told hime he was wasting money, but to each his own I guess. Thanks man.
