First of all I would like to say a big Thank you to you guys. Thanks for the pms and ims asking me whats going on where I have been etc. I figured I will make a post here.

Most of you I have really enjoyed having as friends and spending time with, going to all the meets and different events have been a real blast.
Learning about my car and seeing everyone else’s car and seeing their enthusiasm about them has been a great experience. It makes me happy to look back on this past year and see what was not only a hobby for me, but also Vlad and Eugene turn into a great community.

And as such, I have nothing but love for Randy and I am sure he will make this place a great community. I am officially stepping down as moderator / admin / member. I have gone through some rather life altering events and I simply can't be a part of this anymore.

I would still very much enjoy continuing those friendships with the few of you that know me well, Vlad, Terry, Randy and eb, and certainly everyone else that would consider me a friend. I would love to get a drink with you guys anytime.

Again, I want to say thanks. You guys have given me some seriously good times

Brandon,

Sad to see you go :(

I will however be needing your assistance in the near future.

AFAIK the hosting will remain the same.

Brandon are you buying Audi too? Or VW? :) Or are you doing what I am not brave to do, move to Sunshine State :) We need to restore our Friday Mojito visitations. can't wait for damn winter to be over.

Thanks guys, no vlad I am not buying an audi or vw well at least not yet anyway.

I am however seriously contemplating a move, not to the sunshine state, but hopefully Austin Texas, and as soon as freaking possible.

I have already applied to a few positions down there.

Friday mojitos is still in full swing(it is rock night as of next week) Which is a far better experience imo.

You should definately swing on through man. Good hearing from ya.

Eb, if I am still around I would definately be down for a omgwtfbbq of the founding fathers.

i believe texas has no state income tax either. COL is MUCH less than new england as well. 200k will buy you a very very nice home, 250 will buy you a mansion.

Randy, they will be playing every friday. I think they will be going on around 9 / 9:30...

Beers are only 2 bucks =) hehehe

Eb, I will have to look into that. And yes i believe the COL is farrrr less than what it is up in these parts. I am not sure about moving there forever, but it would do me good to get some new scenery.

yup that be the one.(I know james)

so to top my month off, someone hit my car last night....

I was too drunk to notice it untill this morning....

I have no side mirror and a bunch of scratches.. looks like all they hit was the mirror, but the clipped it enogh to take it off and scratch the **** out of the car.

sooo suggestions? is this something insurance can deal with? or should i just go buy a new mirror and do god knows what about the scratches?

i found this so far: https://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=214128&chapter=ARL7591&appSectionid=2732&groupid=2740&subgroupid=3455&componentid=2948&make=32&model=Impreza&year=2006&catalogid=2

I'd say it depends on your deductible and your insurance history. If you've got a large deductible or if you have a large history for insurance claims then chances are your insurance will go up. If not then I suggest calling the insurance.

no i wasnt driving... car was parked by la festa, the lot where most people park way to effing close anyway.

My friend and i removed the mirror bits yesterday and he put on some base cleaning thing to help fill in the scratches. He was going to try to buff it out today but its snowing... figures.. lol

I am waiting on a few different people that have the *connections* when it comes to oem replacement parts to see what my price is gonna be.

pics? police report? if the damage is under 1k, its probably not worth claiming if its only scratches (no dents) then u should probably just repaint.

no dents, just scratches up close to the window. some were taking care of already, just waiting on good weather for the others.
