After looking for a new daily driver for over a year now, finally found something to trade my Xterra in for. I have probably test drove about ten different cars in my search, most were let downs. I wanted a luxury car, but any luxury car in my price range was either too boring or too old. I came across this Volkswagen R32 by mistake at a Toyota dealership, and was sold two minutes into the test drive. It’s a nice blend of luxury, practicality, and performance. I have had it for a couple months now, and really love it.

So far I plan on a couple basic mods, nothing too crazy.

I already bought, but have not installed:
HPA Motorsports KW SHS coilovers
Evolution Motorsport intake
European headlight switch

Would like to buy:
Catback exhaust
Summer wheels/tires

How's that flappy paddle gearbox? I enjoy R32s but I will say I like the MK4 a little better. The new interior is totally sweet though.

The DSG tranny is AMAZING. I was a hater, but it really is just amazing. This is my daily driver, and for various reasons I wanted an auto. I cant stress how cool the DSG tranny is, everyone that has used it so far has loved it! I hardly ever use the paddles, just put the tranny in S mode and it does all the work for me.

I like the older R32's better as well, but I wanted a newer car that was still under warranty and such. This model also has alot of benefits over the older model.

I bought the coilovers but am having second thoughts, might see how it gets through this next winter before putting them on. The 4x4 status is really not THAT bad, the pics make it look horrible. This car is pretty low for being stock.

Congrats, i had a mk4 bmp R32 before my forester. I miss it greatly, had it for 2 years and was awesome . I would recommend a C2 flash if they have one for the mkv.
