2008 Mustang GT... I drove one today and was surprised how not fast it was. The only great thing is it pulls at 2K just as hard as my car pulls at 3K, but they both fall on their face at 6k. It does not feel faster than my Stg 2 WRX... but It pulls hard and was fun to drive.

To tell the truth, I loved the OLD Mustangs- 60s era- but after around 72 did not like them at all until the most recent redesign.
I love the new ones. :)
Test drove one before I bought the Subaru...
Great power but compared to the "feel" of the Subaru-
much less of a "driver's car".
1/4 miler, cruiser and showing off, perfect.
Banging down curvy backroads... not so much.

I obviously love the old school mustangs, i.e., 65... but also a huge fan of the fox body notch backs and would definitely snag a clean one for the right price.
Couple of my friends had them back in the day. The new ones on the other hand, I got stuck with one for a rental, granted it was a v6, but I sat down inside and the first thing I thought was, "man this thing sucks".

I was planning on trying my luck... I might have to work though; maybe I'll request it off.
