Just had a stack of run in's with Alberto this past week. After installing an up/down/vf46/tmic and bov I asked his shop to look everything over and check it out before heading to BREN. Not only was he up for doing this the next day, but he also worked around my schedule and fit me in at some very strange hours of the night- awesome.
Not being completely satisfied with the boost leak test out come, Alberto decided to burn the midnight oil and go forward with checking my compression. This man wants to see that everything is in full go. Not a bad thing at all.
With that I'm all good until yesterday. My vf46 blows up pre tune. Not only is he all over the phone chatting with me but he's nice enough to come over to my house (I live close by) let his kid hang with my kids and rip the blown turbo out. It's very hard to come across a person like this, never mind a mechanic. I'd give him three thumbs up if I was a freak with an extra hand. Don't even hesitate if you need work done.
