I love the NH seacoast. As summer approaches I tend to think back to past years and all the fun I have had.

Here is what the summer on the seacoast means to me :)

1. Waking up at 930am to get to Rye beach by 1030am. Parking sucks

2. Waiting in line for 45 minutes for a cup of coffee at Breaking New grounds in Portsmouth. Worth ever minute :)

3. Battling traffic on 95 North every friday and 95 South every Sunday.

4. Buying an Icecream and walking around the Prescott Park gardens.

5. Avoiding Hampton Beach at all costs

6. Getting hammered at Poco's

7. Worrying about getting towed out of the liberty mutual parking lot in downtown portsmouth

8. Salmon burgers on the deck at the stock pot

9. Suby meets where no one has snow tires on.

10. Waiting till 3am for a taxi, deciding to walk, then deciding it was best to wait for a taxi.

11. BBQ's at Eugenes

12. BBQ's at TrickyDiks

13. Paying $32 for a 1 ounce bottle of sunscreen at the Rye general store

14. Short skirts and tight shirts (I a perv, I know)

15. Drinking an entire paddle then a few shots at the Portsmouth Brewery company  :spin:

16. Trying to remember where in the parking garage the public bathroom is.

And most of all....

17. The Great SCS meets

I agree with many of those summer memories. Jess brought me to Stock Pot for the first time the other day, looking forward to summer food there.

I'd like to add the following:

Un-numbered: Walking from downtown Portsmouth to Kittery because it's better to get charged $20 the next day for my parking garage bill then to pay thousands on a DWI.

Un-numbered: Calling my upstairs neighbor while he is on duty to give me a ride in the cruiser from the Rt. 1 bridge to my place because I'm shmammered.
