I see these around. Anyone ever try one?

Bull****? Lots of ebay feedback from buyers saying they noticed a positive gain in hp as well as fuel economy.

Everyone else - I have heard some people talk about how they save gas with new maps from COBB or OpenECU, if you do, please post about it!

I have also heard that adding a small amount of acetone (1 cup) to 12 gallons of gasoline helps the gasoline burn better (read: more efficiently). It makes sense chemically because acetone would lower the surface tension of gasoline, which would enable it to break up into smaller particles, which could lead to more even/complete burning in the air / fuel mix. I suppose this has potential to save money on gas.

Something to think about as GAS is only going to continue to rise in cost.

Thoughts?

never used the intake piece, pretty sure they busted them on mythbusters, as well as the acetone.

when i went stage to with catless uppipe and the new tune, i noticed better mpg.

i dunno i guess its not really worth it to fool around with it. i've seen kipkay's video of it on metacafe, and he is usually spot on with his modification guides, but who knows.

don't really want to ****up my gaskets or anything.

hmm....

I noticed a little better MPG when I went stage 2, but since replacing my up-pipe with a catless one I see that it went back down to normal.
