Since WBM and a couple of EFI threads a bunch of members on here have asked me to start a journal to give a farther look into my Subaru. Between work, the car, and other random events I haven't had much time to get around to it but I finally found a spare minute to get this done.
I picked up the car about 20 months ago and the modding started one week before it came in when I ordered a set of rally armor mudflaps. I broke the car in properly and after a couple months flashed it stage 1 with a Cobb Ap. After another few months I decided to go the typical route and get a stage 2 protune. I went with a local tuner on LI which resulted in 2 cracked pistons a scant 8 hours after my tune. It was about that time I decided I'd never take the easy way out by trying to avoid a 3hour ride to CT and from that day on EFI Logics has been the only shop trusted to work on my car.
While I certainty don't mind getting my hands dirty and can say most of the mods put on the car I've done myself, all the serious things/things you need a tune for I've had the pro's at EFI do. The car's ECU has only been touched by Chris @EFI and since bringing my car there I've had no serious problems and any little ones have been immediately taken care of by EFI.
The car is currently making 420whp and 430wtq on their heartbreaker mustang dyno, on low boost, and with a couple more small things and the addition of more boost, she'll hopefully break the 500whp mark when the temps come back down.
If you have any questions about the car feel free to ask, I'll try to help as best I can.

Thanks!

-Matt

The plan is to get more fuel into the car since e85 burns a fair bit faster than normal pump gas. That combined with more boost should produce another 30-40whp no problem. During the winter I'm planning to try out the new ETS TMIC and see what power that addition will net. I don't plan on putting a FMIC on the car. Stay posted for any farther details and EFI may have some surprises coming shortly with the car ;)

yes no doubt.

that rear stance makes me feel better. I don't want to say why.:)
nice car..

engines with those pistons, I am guessing could startle comprehension of what a subaru is for some time to come.

love reading the difference.

Car is deff a blast to drive. An hta green is arguably the best street turbo around. Easy to make 450whp with, which this car made on another dyno that doesn't read as low as efi's, and an insane spool time.. Nothing beats it. I've ran and beat cars with turbo's 2x the size because of the lack of lag this turbo has. It puts you in your seat that is for sure. I can't wait to turn the boost up and see what it can really do.

Every chance I got to take a trip to etown something came up so unfortunately I have yet to make a pass. More into autox's/road courses than strait lines though.

Saw it at WBM. Loved it. HTA Green 3" (with the anti surge ports) is still one of my favorite street turbos. Not hard to tell which LI shop you had trouble with by the sticker in your window FYI ;)

No problem Chris! Glad to be a part of the Efi family. And bren it actually wasn't No Limit. Although the person who tuned my car did use their dyno. But out of respect I'll keep his name under wraps. Cough Dave Brown Cough. Sorry I think I have a cold.
