View Full Version : AC Compressor Belt ?'s

Is it safe to remove the belt that drives the AC Compressor and drive with out it? What are any positive/negative aspects of removing this belt?

My A/C Clutch failed on me about a month or so ago, and Occasionally Ill hear it rattling as it spins and am just curious if I can remove the belt to stop any further possible damage.

I don't think it would be a problem since you can just take out the whole a/c system anyway.
