I spent part of my day replacing my badly.. badly worn out brake shoes on my car for my E-brake. I never realized how bad a shoe could get...
Here is a picture compared to a brand new one (on top) and an old one I took out (bottom)

They last long, self adjust, proportion well and are so simple by design. Really no reason to hate them lol

I love the set up.
Say your pedal pads are down, you've still got brandy new e-brake pads to hold your car.

Piiissssh. Napa holds $6.50 automatically if you bring in your old shoes they give you the money back..
No one said they had to be able to be repadded. I lost $6.50.. And had a ton of questions.

Ya, I bet they were a bit shocked. You don't see that very often.

I think you could have gone a few more miles with that brake shoe.

Can't believe companies still have core charges on brake shoes...My company stopped charging core charges 10 years ago...Just after i started with them! You should go to a Bond Auto Parts store in the future! We have a low price Guarantee!!

My step brother works at one, and gives me his discount which is only like 10%, but Saturday afternoon at like 1 they close. Not like 5:30 when NAPA closes and I needed them then.
