I'm looking for a new place. Where I am now is cheap and clean, I just don't have a lot of room.
Looking for a new place, I'd like to stay in the Dover or seacoast area. Anyone know of any good places to look for apts? Know of any available? Apt. Complexes, individual houses etc. Looking for something around 7-800 a month or less.
I've been scouring Craiglist for a while. I'll probably keep working off that. Might try a real estate agent too.

ya man i've been hitting up craigslist all the time too.
if you are willing to throw down 700-800 per month we could def afford a nice place. you wouldn't even have to spend that much.
we could probably find a nice place for $1000/month + utils that's big.
i'll keep hittin up craigslist in the meantime

My Mom and I are going in on a House on Hanson St. It's a 4 unit place, with 1 1 BR 2 2BR and 1 3BR unit. Currently the 1BR is occupied. We're still waiting to see if our offer is accepted, but once everything goes through I'll let you guys know, and you can take a look at it.

Preferably June 1st, but I'm flexible. I have an Apt in Alton NH I can live in for the time being, i'll just have to commute :-/

A friend just moved into an old duplex in Portsmouth.. The other half is up for rent, but I believe it's $950/mo plus utilities, and only one bedroom.
The nice part is that it's on South School St, walking distance to downtown.

Probably too agressive for me... Oh well.
Although, my place has a garage and fully finished basement that is all wired up for a projector, speakers, and will fit a pool table.... but hey.

How much does she charge for services, or is it included in the deal with the rental owners? I know different agents do things differently wrt. rentals.

it wouldn't be for rentals, just condos or a house.

yeah that place is bunk. (not eb50's, the apt next to the railroad).
we're looking for a place that's $1200/month + utils tops.

What was "Next to the Tracks"?
All three places I've lived in Dover have been within 1/4 miles of the Tracks, probally even closer, and It's never been a problem.
Now if it was Durrell St, St John Street area, I can understand, that place was/is a ****hole.

Places should start popping up on Craigslist here soon with UNH letting out for the summer.
Snag a sublease and worse comes to worse you'll have plenty of time to find a new place come fall.
